"Doug was our home inspector when we bought our house in May 2019. The market was hot, houses were getting sold in a matter of hours and we'd been looking for months, but we still didn't want to buy our first home without inspection. So we decided to do one for information purposes only and hired Doug. It was the best decision we could've made. Doug was thorough, extremely knowledgeable, and very patient. His expertise showed every time he pointed something in the house that needed attention. Being that it was our first home, we had a lot of questions during the inspection and he always responded to them without hesitation. He walked us through the whole house and helped us understand the areas that needed improvement. He was never in a rush and he took the time to explain things properly. We needed to close in 15 days and Doug again delivered on his word and professionalism by providing us with the inspection report only 24 hours after. The report, as he promised, had every single detail mentioned in the home inspection, along with instructions on how different valves and switches work that we had no idea what they were for. We felt confident about the home and ended up getting it, even after a bit of a war price. That's how confident we felt about the house and I truly believe Doug's report helped us build that confidence. A year later we contacted Doug to inspect our new roof, since we wanted that piece of mind that the new roof was installed properly. Doug again over-delivered; he showed up on time, climbed into our attic and inspected our roof thoroughly; no issues there. Even though I insisted to pay for the roof inspection he never wanted to take any money from us. He said that it was part of the service he offered as being our home inspector. Doug is truly a gem in this industry, very knowledgeable about houses and structures, very passionate about his work, and a person that will be there to answer all your questions, regardless of how long it has been. I cannot recommend Doug enough; his customer service is exceptional, something that you don't see much anymore these days."
